Foundry labourer — Grant County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Grant County, Kentucky. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards The role involves inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
