TIG welder — Malumfashi

Vacancy available: we are hiring a TIG welder in Malumfashi, Katsina State. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. On a typical shift you will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
