PVC window assembler • Gwynedd, Wales

We are recruiting: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Gwynedd, Wales. You will be based at a glazing and fabrication factory. Day-to-day duties: • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees You should have: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres £2,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
