Crawler crane operator — Wilson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Wilson County, Tennessee. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. On the job you will handle: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Six days a week, one day off. We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
