Great opportunity: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Atoka County, Oklahoma. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. Day to day you will keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. Ideal candidate: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
