Finishing presser — Huron County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a finishing presser in Huron County, Michigan. You will work in a garment export house. The role involves spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Full-time with occasional weekends.
