Now hiring: we are hiring a decorator in Jackson County, Texas. You will work at a busy decorating firm. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture • Fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Mix and tint paint to match colour swatches Requirements: • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers Performance bonus on top of base pay.
