Horizontal milling machine operator wanted in Catron County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Catron County, New Mexico. You will work in a die and mould making unit. Day-to-day duties: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Requirements: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Full-time with occasional weekends.
