You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Willing to work shifts and overtime Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
