Now hiring: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico. The job is at a busy garment factory. You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently On a typical shift you will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
