Great opportunity: reinforcement steel fixer (Ogun State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Abeokuta North, Ogun State. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Day-to-day duties: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
