Overlocker operator wanted in Hanover County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Hanover County, Virginia. You will work on an export house sewing floor. You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory The role involves press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go.
