We are recruiting: we are hiring a steam press operator in Gilpin County, Colorado. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Day to day you will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
