Immediate opening: we are hiring a maintenance painter in Ottawa County, Ohio. The job is on a residential building site. Your main tasks: • Sand and fill walls before applying primer • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns What we are looking for: • Own brushes and basic hand tools • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
