Mining dozer operator — Jefferson Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. The role involves clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving. What we are looking for: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections 3+ years on the tools preferred. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
