Requirements: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish The role involves cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames; strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; mix and tint paint to match colour swatches.
