The role involves: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Part-time with flexible hours.
