Industrial sewing operator — Cook County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Cook County, Illinois. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. The role involves: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
