Pastry baker — Akuku Toru

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pastry baker in Akuku Toru, Rivers State. You will work in a bread factory. What we are looking for: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Day to day you will roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. We offer ₦650 per hour plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
