Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Boone County, Indiana. The job is in a job-work machining unit. Day to day you will read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; load and index turning tools in the turret; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm 3+ years on the tools preferred.
