Immediate opening: we are hiring a butcher in Salt Lake County, Utah. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. You should have: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry You will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
