Fabricator-welder — Jackson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Jackson County, Michigan. You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Your main tasks: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Full-time with occasional weekends.
