Industrial sewing operator — Perry County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Perry County, Ohio. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. Day-to-day duties: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits.
