Rebar worker — Tama County

Join our team: we are hiring a rebar worker in Tama County, Iowa. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Your main tasks: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat You should have: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
