Horizontal milling machine operator — Dickinson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Dickinson County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
