Rebar foreman wanted in Wayne County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Wayne County, Ohio. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. You should have: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Your main tasks: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions 3+ years on the tools preferred.
