Bricklayer — Makoda

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Makoda, Kano State. On a typical shift you will setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Full-time with occasional weekends.
