Requirements: • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds You will replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter.
