Urgent requirement: we are hiring a panel painter in Sunderland, England. The job is in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Day to day you will prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish. You should have: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods Pay around £2,700 per month, based on your experience.
