Domestic gas engineer — Gem County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Gem County, Idaho. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. Requirements: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations On the job you will handle: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
