Long-haul driver — Dallas County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Dallas County, Iowa. The job is on long-haul routes across the country. Requirements: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel Day-to-day duties: • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits 6+ years on the tools preferred.
