Fabricator-welder — Kurmi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Kurmi, Taraba State. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection ₦145,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
