Join our team: we are hiring a building site helper in Botetourt County, Virginia. The job is on a commercial building project. What we are looking for: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Your main tasks: • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
