Pipe TIG welder — Evangeline Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Evangeline Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a structural steel site. Your main tasks: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding 6+ years on the tools preferred.
