Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm The role involves: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
