Plasterer — La Plata County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plasterer in La Plata County, Colorado. Day to day you will apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; check walls for plumb and level as you go; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler. You should have: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
