Vacancy available: vertical milling machine operator (California)

Join our team: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Sierra County, California. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Day-to-day duties: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $19 per hour, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
