Now hiring: surface coating operator (Washington)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Kittitas County, Washington. You will work in a metal finishing workshop. Your main tasks: • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating You should have: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes Rotating shifts.
