Elevator technician — Greer County

Join our team: we are hiring an elevator technician in Greer County, Oklahoma. On the job you will handle: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays You should have: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
