The role involves keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Six days a week, one day off. We offer $5,250 per project plus benefits.
