Slinger signaller — Orange County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Orange County, Vermont. You will work at a power plant. On a typical shift you will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles 2+ years on the tools preferred.
