Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Wilkinson County, Georgia. The job is at a high-rise construction project. On the job you will handle: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
