Steel erection rigger — Leflore County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Leflore County, Mississippi. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket On a typical shift you will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; read lift plans and method statements before starting; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
