Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane operator in Winnebago County, Illinois. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. The role involves keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. Requirements: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Current medical and eyesight certificate Full-time with occasional weekends.
