Vacancy available: we are hiring a window glazier in Fairfield County, South Carolina. You will work at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. Your main tasks: • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents You should have: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Full-time with occasional weekends.
