Shakeout operator — Madagali

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Madagali, Adamawa State. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. The role involves: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
