Construction helper — Butte County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a construction helper in Butte County, California. On the job you will handle: • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors What we are looking for: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
