Abattoir worker — Lake County

Join our team: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Lake County, California. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. Day to day you will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
