Lathe operator — Orumba North

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe operator in Orumba North, Anambra State. You will be based at an auto-parts workshop. Your main tasks: • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches You should have: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings 4+ years on the tools preferred.
