Machinist — Darke County

Join our team: we are hiring a machinist in Darke County, Ohio. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. On a typical shift you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
